Hello, my name is Barney Messenger and I am the owner and operator of Barney’s Electric. I would like to take a moment and extend a sincere welcome to our website. As a Master Electrician with over 30 years of experience and dedication to the electrical repair industry, I would like to first begin by expressing my dedication to customer service excellence and competitive pricing that has remained unmatched to even my largest competitor. I would also like you to have the peace of mind that you will always have my personal attention, on every job. I am also proud to personally choose my personnel. Each one of my technicians are fully licensed and hand-selected to meet my uncompromised standards of professionalism and courtesy. Other standards you can expect from us include the absence of hidden fees and that your project will always be completed right the first time. Simply stated, “If you are not happy, we have not done our job!”

Serving the Dallas metroplex, Barney’s Electric is happy to provide electrical repair and new construction services to residential, commercial, retail and industrial clients throughout the area. We are also setting the industries standards for quality of workmanship and service excellence to restaurant owners, retail businesses and medical offices.

We offer a flexible scheduling calendar, Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays by appointment. Should the need arise that you require an electrical emergency, my personal cell phone is 214-282-5842. We are also happy to provide free estimates on any project you may have. In addition, if there is ever a problem, I expect to handle the issue myself and will make sure you are completely satisfied.

We had Barney's Electric come out to install an outdoor ceiling fan on the patio. We really appreciated the no cost estimate. He quoted a fair price and when he came to install the fan, he worked very quickly and efficiently even though he had lost his assistant during the week and it was a little warm that morning. He was very nice. I would call him again for any additional work we might need.

Barney's Electric was a great help. My pool builder told me I would need a sub panel to supply electricity to the pool equipment. I called Barney. After he asked a few questions he asked that I text a picture of my breaker panel. I was a bit surprised by that request. He called back a bit later and spent time explaining all the things that could be done with the panel I already have, Needless to say, I don't need to spend hard earned cash on a sub panel. I am very appreciative that Barney took the time over the phone to help me fully understand what my breaker panel is capable of. I won't hesitate to recommend his service to others who need it.

Great experience with Barney. He's on the smaller side company wise which i prefer as it affords you access directly to the owner. Quality work and even provides estimates with out requiring a service fee. Which i think is a no brainer. Why would i pay a company to come and tell me how much im going to pay them. Estimates should be free. Looking forward to doing more work in the future with Barney.
