Circuit panel / electrical panel replacement

circuit panel upgrade and replacementWhy It’s Important to Replace to Get an Electrical Panel Replacement Sooner Rather than Later
Most home and business owners have come to realize that eventually most pieces of the structure and the different systems around the building are going to have to be replaced eventually. Plumbing lines don’t last forever and neither do wires or electrical panels. That’s why you have to consider a circuit panel replacement when your system begins to look worn out. While an electrical panel can last for as much as 50 years or more, it’s generally considered safe practice to replace it every 25 years. It’s such an essential piece of equipment in your home that it should be replaced before it has a chance to fail.

Stay Safe and Pay for an Electrical Panel Replacement
If electrical panels are allowed to age too fire they can become a serious hazard to your home or business. They can lead to shorts, power failures and even fires in some rare cases. Those are serious problems that should be avoided at all costs. That’s precisely why you should keep track of how old your current circuit panel is and pay for an electrical panel replacement around the 25 year marker whenever you can. This will ensure that your equipment operates properly each and every time so that you don’t have to worry about problems occurring. The last thing you want to worry about is a fire starting while you aren’t in the office, or while you’re sleeping at home, and that’s a real possibility with an aging electrical system.

Upgrade to a More Modern System
If you have an electrical panel that’s old enough to need replacing, it’s likely that it isn’t very modern at all. Newer panels are made from more durable materials and designed to higher specifications. When the time comes to get an electrical panel replacement, you’ll not only enjoy a safer operating environment in general, but a more efficient and effective breaker panel with features that you might not have had on the older panel. For instance you might be moving up from replaceable fuses to breaker switches that can be used over and over again. That in itself is a major improvement that’s worth the upgrade on its own.

Get the Pros in to Do the Work
If you decide that you want to change out the panels in your house, it’s a good idea to have professionals do the job for you. There is a very serious shock risk involved when changing electrical panels, and the easiest way to avoid the risk is to let skilled electricians handle the work instead. A full circuit panel replacement will dramatically improve the quality of your electrical system, and it could add in new features to your home that you never had before.
Make sure that you check the age of your electrical panel in your home and consider a circuit panel replacement if your system is 25 years old or older. It’s wearing out and every additional year that you rely on the system is another opportunity for it to fail and cause you serious problems.

I hired Barneys ro install ceiling fans, install a shower light, and move some plugs around during a remodel. The whole process was easy and he and his cree. were all very professional. They were in and out in a few hours and explained the whole process to me as needed.

I called Barney about 7:45 Monday morning and he was here and had the issue diagnosed in less than 45 minutes. Great service. Will use from now on for all electrical issues.
